Overview of Fundraiser

Apogee 2020 is a high school after-school program that will be open and available to all Flint area high school students ages 14-18. With the programs first fundraiser right around the corner, winning this competition would go a long way towards the development of the Apogee 2020 program.

The Specifics: How will the $500 fund your fundraiser?

The Apogee 2020 program curriculum will consist of an introduction to aviation, physics, biology, meteorology, aerospace science, space science, and engineering. There is a small but devoted team of educators and community leaders who are prepared to take Apogee 2020 to the next level. As stated before, the first fundraiser for this program will be approaching shortly. Local artist have already donated fifty galaxy paintings to be put up for auction at the fundraiser. We are confident that the $500 available through this competition would cover all remaining expenses such as the venue, food, drinks, and displays. Through this fundraiser we hope to build alliances and friendships that will benefit the underprivileged youth of Flint, Mi.
